Nonetheless. this legislation represents such a dramatic step in the right direction on the issues of family unification. diversity and bringing skilled labor to the United States. among others. that I believe that it deserves support. I urge my colleagues to join me in voting to approve this legislation. Finally. I would like to acknowledge the most important role that the Irish Immigration Reform Movement has played in bringing this legislation to fruition.
