Mr. Speaker. I rise today to congratulate Mr. Frank Alick. an outstanding musician and citizen of Michigan. on the occasion of his induction into the Michigan Polka Music Hall of Fame. A banquet and induction ceremony will be held in his honor on October 7. 1990. Frank was born on October 21. 1931. in Flint. MI. to Frank and Mary Alick who immigrated to the United States from Yugoslavia. Frank was the secondborn of two children. Franks parents and friends are responsible for his exposure to various forms of ethnic music while he was growing up. At parties and other gatherings.
