He was a distinguished scientist and Inventor. Nikola Tesla. Teslas 134th birthdate was this summer. July 11. In 1856 Nlkola Tesla was born in Serbia. which is now Yugoslavia. He emigrated to this country at the age of 28. He was ahead of his time as a scientist and worked with Thomas Edison for nearly a year. Then he established his own laboratory and began a spectacular career in research and invention.
