Speech #1010117602

The COlmon heritage which we share has forged a close bond between Greece and the United States and between our peoples. But the bond between our two countries does not end with the contributions of democracy. freedom. and liberty. It is also reflected in the contributions Greek immigrants and their Americanborn children have made in New Jersey and across the country. They have enriched our culture and made strides in many areas of our societythe arts and humanities. science. business. and government. I urge my colleagues to support this joint resolution as a tribute to these contributions. past and present. which have greatly enriched American life.
