We must maintain our resolve and seize every opportunity to ensure the emigration of persecuted refuseniks from the Soviet Union. Our conscience will not let us stop working toward this end until the Soviet Government realizes that their acts of persecution. not accepted by the free world. must be altered to ensure that all human beings. regardless of heritage. must be free. Until this happens. glasnost is just another word and persecution is just another reality.
