Much of the funding for the museum is privately contributed. and many of the museums financial supporters object to any plans to move it to any other site. The Senate can act today to reaffirm a longstanding congressional position and to recognize the concerns of the museums supporters. by stating clearly that it wants the museum to be kept in its present location.
