I thank the gentleman for yielding me this time. Mr. Speaker. I would hope that those that have spoken against the proposition of bringing immigration back up would look at yourselves and look at what you are really saying. The gentleman from New York I think very eloquently set forth the position that if the House was allowed to really work its will on what has become known as the Schumer amendment that the whole bill may die. Look at what we are saying. Look at what you are telling this Chamber. You are saying if the democratic process goes forward. that the bill will be killed.
