Mr. Speaker. last month the American Civil Liberties Union released a report entitled "The Hands That Feed Us: Undocumented Farmworkers in Florida." I commend this report to my colleagues. both for the extraordinary caliber of the research undertaken by the ACLU. and for the organizations passionate commitment to demonstrating that the treatment of farmworkers in this country is a key civil rights issue we must address. Following is the letter accompanying the report sent to all members by the chair of the ACLU National Advisory Council Eleanor Holmes Norton on June 12. prior to markup in the House Judiciary Committee of H.R. 3810:
