Inna is critically ill with cancer. Naum is getting older. He is 74. The Meimans have little time left to enjoy the land of their ancestors but they must be given the chance to breathe the air of Israel. Ima must be given the basic right to the best and most modern medical treatment available. Since the Soviet doctors have told her there is nothing further that they can do. it is time to allow doctors in the West who have the technology to treat her. I strongly encourage the Soviet authorities to grant permission to the Meimans to emigrate to Israel.o
