I would like to join the two previous colleagues on the floor. the gentleman from New Jersey and the gentleman from Virginia who have alluded to the fact that Secretary Shultz is going to Romania to discuss. among other things. with the Romanians. human rights. I would like to support their legislation that could cause a 6month lapse in the mostfavorednation treatment to the nation of Romania. The Romanian people are friends of the United States. The American people are friends of the Romanian people. but the suppression of human rights. their denial of exit visas. and various other things. would cause them to be in violation of those things which we hold dear. Mr. Speaker.
