Chairman. I thank the gentleman for yielding. and I rise in support of his amendment. I looked this over carefully today to identify carefully where we are coming down on this refugeeassistance funding. and it has been made clear to me that we are in fact allowing for the amount of funding that was in the budget resolution that was passed by this House. So any assertion that somehow we are going to be spending less than we were spending by the adoption of this amendment today would not be accurate. In fact. there is an inflation adjustment allowed for these programs under that budget resolution.
