Mr. President. I am pleased to Join with my colleague. Senator HATCH. in introducing this bipartisan bill to reauthorize the Community Health Centers and Migrant Health Centers Programs. This legislation will help ensure the continued development and vitality of community based health centers. Community health centers have provided essential health services to those most in need for more than 20 years. Study after study has shown that community health centers provide high quality. cost effective care to those who would otherwise lack access to essential health services. Last year alone community health centers were the primary source of health care services to more than 5 million Americans.
