An example of such a program is "I Can Do It." This program is designed especially for second and third graders and helps them learn to handle responsibilities and possible emergencies at home. These youngsters gain an increased sense of security and selfesteem. Camp Fire also seeks to improve societal conditions affecting youth by speaking out about such matters as day care. youth employment. nutrition. juvenile justice. and sexual abuse of children. Camp Fire has developed special programs for exceptional children. migrant children. and economically disadvantaged children. Camp Fire can be very proud of its history of service to young people and communities throughout the Nation. and I am happy to introduce this resolution acknowledging its 75 years of service. I hope that my colleagues will support this joint resolution.*
