Mr. President. I rise today to introduce a private immigration relief bill on behalf of Dr. Pablo Esquerra. his wife Theresa. and his 10yearold daughter. Micheline. Dr. Esguerra has been in the United States continuously since 1975. He has an Americanborn son. Francis. age 6. who is an American citizen and therefore not technically subject to deportation. However. as a practical matter. he will be forced to join his parents and sister if they are deported to the Philippines. Based on Inquiries. I am reliably advised as follows: Dr. Esquerra is liked and respected in his community in Fayette County.
