I. like many of my colleagues. have been forced to vote for some very difficult propositions in recent days. In some eyes. this may be another. However. consider if you will. the plight of those 10 States which have been forced to shoulder the burden of incarcerating illegal aliens convicted of felonies. Consider how these 10 States have had the plague of released prisoners from Cuba entering their streets and establishing a new class of criminals. In New York City alone. where I represent. within a 15month period after their arrival. 56 murders were committed by Marielito Cubans. all of whom were in prison before they came.
