But I assure the Members that. under the guise of immigration reform. if we adopt the bill and it allows for local law enforcement to enforce immigration law. a Member of Congress from the 15th District of Texas would not be able to go in blue jeans and a plaid shirt on a bus from here to Mission. TX. without being stopped. I would say. 15 to 20 times and having to identify himself beyond the norm.
