But in any event. let us not mess up what is otherwise a good bill and a good provision. Second. there is a paperwork requirement involvement in this amendment. There are some of us like me who happen to like the bill that exists now. with the Kindness amendment being adopted to it. That would not require paperwork on the part of employers until such time as they have been cited for having been in violation in some manner for hiring an unauthorized or illegal alien. But if you do not agree with that. you still have a chance to adopt the amendment of the gentleman from California a little later on. That would add the paperwork.
