Mr. Speaker. I would like to join my colleague. the gentleman from Kentucky in congratulating this House for voting out a rule that I think is a fair rule that will allow full and open debate on the immigration bill. which of course is an important subject for us to deal with here. One of the things I am proudest about is that yesterdays vote was truly a bipartisan vote. I hope that augurs well for the consideration of this bill on the floor of the House. For it would be in keeping with the entire consideration of this subject over the last half decade.
