It seems to me that an employer is not equipped to do that. He is not trained for that particular purpose. And it seems to me that he should not be forced to do the job of the Department of Immigration. But the Department of Immigration even goes farther than that. What they want and will get under the Simpson provision of this bill is that they will be able to deputize local policemen to help them round up or that is in the raids that will take place against those who may be considered to be here illegally. This tremendous power that will be given to a small faction of our society is dangerous.
