Mr. Speaker. on June 12 Mr. Perry A. Rivkind. the newly appointed District Director for the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the United States. will be the guest of honor at a luncheon hosted by the Scopus Lodge and the Bnai Brith. On that occasion Mr. Rivkind will be the first recipient of the Bnai Briths Shalom Award. The Shalom Award is a distinctive honor. It is based on the concept: The greatest and noblest of men have lived and died in the sacred labor of improving the conditions of the human family... of removing the barriers that divide the children of God ... of promoting knowledge. compassion and virtue to bring forth the divine in man.
