The United Jewish Appeal and the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies (UJA/Federation) will pay tribute to this outstanding citizen at a special breakfast in his honor on May 20. I can think of no person more deserving of this honor. As a child and young man in Nazi Germany. Sig Spiegel developed a strong sense of survival and unity of spirit with his fellow Jews. which has directed his life ever since.
