Speaker. I would like to associate myself with the remarks of the gentleman from California . One of the greatest frustrations since first coming to this House is to see the shabby treatment which the majority party. the Democrat Party. has treated the borders of this country by continuously throwing ever possible block in front of a meaningful immigration bill for our country. I would remind the Speaker in setting forth the policy of this House in the form of a schedule. that this is not a partisan issue. This is a carefully crafted. thoughtout bill that was molded very very carefully in the Judiciary Committee by both the Democrat and Republican members working together.
