Mr. Speaker. I take this time because the question was raised by one of the gentlemen who spoke just a moment ago with respect to the immigration bill and its scheduling for consideration on the House floor. It is our purpose to schedule that bill for consideration during the week of June 11. We expect to devote the entire week to its consideration. Monday through Friday. Therefore. Members may expect to be here if they are interested in voting on the numerous amendments which may be made in order to that immigration legislation during the week of June 11. And it is our full intent and specific purpose that at the conclusion of that week we shall vote on the bill. voting it up or down. but completing action on that bill before we go to any other matter.
