Speech #980179792

Inc.. in Sacramento. and other parent groups which work against drug abuse among Americas young. We agreed to continue ACTIONs authority to fund other valuable communitysupported programs such as Young Volunteers in Action. I can attest to the valuable services ACTION volunteers provide in Utah. In my home State. more than 3.000 volunteerssenior citizens and professionalsdonate their time to hospitals. schools. and the criminal Justice system. These volunteers provide workshops and counseling to lowincome individuals. and they teach refugees English. homemaking. and Job skills. This is a good bill. It is eagerly awaited by a broad cross section of Americans. from older citizens to our Nations youth.
