I applied for emigration to Israel for the first time in 1974 and since then I have received refusals motivated by that my nationality was designate as "Russian" in my passport. However. the copy of my birth certificate. presented by me together with the other documents to the OVIR. clearly shows that my mother was of Jewish origin. Therefore. the refusals issued for the reason are of a purely artificial character and are. considerinj my personal history. a particular insult to me.
