Mrs. BARBARA KENNELLY. to promote the cause of Soviet Jews and all others who seek to emigrate from the Soviet Union. We received overwhelming bipartisan support for the resolution from more than 200 cosponsors. In June. the Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Committee on Security and Cooperation in Europe. held a joint hearing. to examine the plight of Soviet Jews.
