Mr. President. as the distinguished manager of this bill is aware. I have been concerned over the limitations of judicial review contained in this bill. During the committees markup. I offered a number of amendments to clarify an ambiguity in the bill regarding the possible limitation of judicial review of asylum class actions. I am also concerned over the limitations on judicial review of exclusions and deportations. However. following the discussion of my amendments in committee. I note that the committees report has been changed in order to address some of the concerns raised in my amendment. Therefore. I should like to ask the manager of the bill a few questions to clarify the legislative intent of the limitations on judicial review contained in this bill.
