If you happen to be in the States of Oregon and Washington. such as I am. where our unemployment is 12.9 percent. official. the simple fact of the matter is that while I think there is some sense in the philosophy that after 18 months it should be possible for somebody to find a job. that at least at this time that situation really is not relevant. So these people simply find themselves with no support at all. I am taking this time because I have been trying to figure out a way that this Congress would make a supplemental appropriation to restore back to the 36month category that existed before this regulatory action by the Office of Refugee Relocation. I am trying. I have been trying to get the attention of the leadership of this House to say we have people who are in this country and who are starving to death.
