Mr. Speaker. it is especially important for us in the Congress to make public appeals to the Soviet Union so that they are aware of the concern that we have for the fundamental freedoms of thought. conscience. religions. and political beliefs. which they ignore. In this regard. I wish to express my support for House Joint Resolution 230 and House Resolution 269. which show our interest in Dr. Semyon Gluzman and in Yuli Kosharovsky. and in their efforts to emigrate to Israel. Dr. Semyon Gluzman and his family greatly desire to leave the Soviet Union to live in Israel. Dr.
