With our actions in the next few months. we can follow a course we should have taken 5 years agoa path which shall lead to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. not the belligerent standoff we have witnessed thus far. A country that prides itself on its freedom and its belief in human rights cannot ignore the injustices suffered by the Greek Cypriot refugees at the hands of the Turkish Army. We all share the common goal of an independent Cyprus free from foreign influence in its internal affairs. A peaceful resolution must be based upon mutual trust between the two communities.
