Speaker. there is a very big difference between this resolution and the resolution relating to the Olympic boycott that was passed by the House last year. That difference is this: The Olympic boycott resolution related to our national Olympic team not participating in the Moscow Summer Olympics. That was something that did involve the U.S. Government because it was our national team. Here we are talking about people coming to the United States. the home of the free. the place where we have welcomed people from all countries in the world in the past with our immigration policies. and there certainly is a vast difference in where our team goes and what happens when other teams come into the United States.
