Yet. there has been no progress. With their peacekeeping force in Cyprus. they have tried to keep the tensions between the two sides at a minimum. Yet this does not solve the problem. We must urge Turkey to relinquish their occupation and to give back the occupied land to its rightful owner. We must urge this administration to continue to push Turkey to return the land and allow the Greek refugees to return to their homes. This is not only a concern of the Greek and Turkish community. but affects the whole world. We must strive for peaceful relations. not violent acts as policy.
