Session #97 · 1981–83

Speech #970044398

The combination of the last two amendments sort of leaves us emptyhanded for a moment. I did have a long list. Incidentally. the list consists of some 40 amendments from both sides. We are combining some of them. like a couple of amendments a minute ago by the distinguished Senator from Oregon on the part of the Appropriations Committee. and I am sure that some of these can be combined. But we do have a number of amendments that will come on Conrail. on EDA. and Cuban and Haitian refugees. I have a lot of notes for tomorrow. I am sure we can line them up for the morning.
