None of us wants to see Viktor Brallovsky suffer the same fate. Yet the Soviet authorities are holding him prisoner. refusing to address his medical needs. I believe this is the sort of thing we in conscience have to protestand. God willing. we must prevent. Mr. Speaker. I believe the passage of this resolution will help bring home to the Soviet authorities the great and serious nature of this matter. I hope it will spur our State Department to take all possible steps to secure the release of Dr. Viktor Brailovsky. his wife Irina. and their children. and to expedite their emigration to Israel.*
