Vietnamese authorities claim that there are no Americans left in Vietnam and have labeled stories to the contrary as lies designed to keep the United States hostile to Vietnam. I believe. as a) zmany ofmy U1---u1 that all of our servicemen were not returned to the United States after January 27. 1973. the date of the signing of the Paris peace accords. which signaled the formal ending of the war in Vietnam. Based on evidence we have received from Vietnamese refugees and investigations conducted by credible organizations dealing with Americans missing in action in Southeast Asia. I do not feel that the U.S. Government has all of the facts.
