The Labor Department has seen fit to extend its protective hand to require all farmers who hire workers. even his next door neighbor. to register as farm labor contractors. This bill. H.R. 7824. exempts farmers from this and other burdensome requirements and frees the Department of Labor to carry out the intent of Congress which is to protect real migrants.e
