The subsequent agreement negotiated by the mediation service went unsigned by both the Growers Association and legal services and the Growers Association thereafter dropped out of mediation while western New York reached an informal agreement with the two individual growers. This body must recognize that the Legal Services Corporation has a mandate to provide equal justice to all including those groups for whom assertion of their Federal rights will cause them to clash with interests of more permanent. established groups such as the growers in Mr. CONABLES State. in my State of New Jersey. or any State. Migrant farmworkers have too long been denied meaningful access to the justice system to allow this unwarranted cut to the budget to the Legal Services Corporation.*
