When these amendments go to conference. if there is anything wrong with the figures. there is time to adjust it there in light of the most agreeable facts then presented. And we will have set our foot on a definite course of action. with good reason and good purposes. instead of backing off and waiting and waiting and waiting. I remember how we were deluged here many times. more recently by refugees from the war in Vietnam. and things have gotten worse and worse and worse. So I commend the Senator again and I thank him. I think everyones purpose is largely the same on this problem.
