I indicated previously that thus far this year. 798.000 have been admitted. That is inaccurate. That is the projection for 1980. We do not know exactly how many have been admitted thus far this year. but it is very likely that it does come very close to this and perhaps even exceeds the number of the Huddleston amendment. The 798.000 I mentioned as a realistic projection includes 300.000 on the quota system and 150.000 on the nonquota system. 234.000 refugees. some of those who have been admitted but have not actually arrived yet and will be coming during the next few days. then. of course. the Cubans. for 114.000 that we know are here today. and perhaps even more of those.
