Mr. Speaker. I would like to take a moment to thank those involved in helping in the situation in Florida. Yesterday I took this floor and talked about a situation where Cuban refugees had been placed in veterans facilities while veterans may have been turned away and not given treatment for health problems. That situation has been remedied. We did get the ear of the White House and the Veterans Administration. the FEMA team. as well as Chairman ROBERTS of the Veterans Affairs Committee. These individuals will be moved to nonveteran facilities. They will be given proper care and treatment and the veterans of our State and this Nation.
