In 1975 she teamed up with the Flying Samaritans. To date. she has made over 25 trips into the back country of Mexico where the need is great and help nonexistent. Jo seeks out special cases of burn and cleft palate victims. She then makes all the arrangements with the Immigration and Naturalization Service. proceeds to seek out doctors. hospitals. and housing at no cost to the victims. Jo is known among the Border Patrol as the "Tijuana Taxi." The list of credits are so numerous that I cannot even begin to touch the surface of the accomplishments of this marvelous lady.
