Mr. President. I recently returned from a 10day visit to Southeast Asia. under the auspices of the Senate Armed Services Committee. My primary purpose in making this trip was to examine the relationship between the current political and military instability in Cambodia. the refugee situation along the ThaiCambodian border. and the overall security situation in Southeast Asia. I know that my colleagues in the Senate are interested in and concerned about these same issues. and I hope that my observations will be of some value to them.
