I am introducing a concurrent resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that the President award Ambassador Taylor the Presidential Medal of Freedom. the highest award that can be given a noncitizen. Such an action is appropriate in light of what the Ambassador has done. and it is also fitting that we take a moment to recognize a modernday hero. to pay tribute to his imagination and courage. and to wonder if perhaps we would not be better off with a few more like him.@
