The Catholic Relief Organization. the relief arm of the Southern Baptists. and other nondenominational relief organizations. were working effectively and with great devotion. After visiting the three refugee concentration areas. my colleagues and I met with Prime Minister Kriangsak of Thailand and we expressed to the Prime Minister our appreciation for his magnanimous gesture in granting at least temporary asylum to these miserable people who were fleeing across the border from Cambodia into Thailand.
