Mr. Speaker. I wish to announce that my Subcommittee on Immigration. Citizenship. and International Law has scheduled a public hearing tomorrow. April 8. 1975. to review the developments of last week relating to the airlift of Vietnamese orphans into the United States and to consider the current refugee and orphan problems in South Vietnam. I am distressed by the apparent lack of leadership and direction relating to the orphan airlift and I am hopeful that these hearings will serve to stem the confusion that has resulted from the vast amount of misinformation circulated within the last week. The hearing will be held in room 2141 and will commence at 2 p.m.
