This Is a right we call inalienable. a right we take for granted. Yet. in many parts of the world this is a right for which men still suffer and die. The normally progressive and liberal government of Yugoslavia has. apparently. decided to try Mr. Mihajlov in secret. and he faces a long prison term for the crime of allowing his works to be published in the United States. A number of American universities have invited Mr. Mihajlov to emigrate to the United States where he has been offered teaching positions. His government has interdicted any such move. They also will not allow his works to be published in Yugoslavia.
