As all of us are aware. these constitute the package that was submitted by the Secretary of State to assist him in seeking this rather illusive peace In the Middle East. On the matter of Cyprus. I believe It should be noted that $10 million has already been obligated thus far in fiscal year 1975 and the recommendation of $15 million In the resolution will make a total of $25 million available for assisting refugees on this wartom island. The committee further wishes to point out that a specific amount for military assistance to Israel was not Included in the continuing resolution because under the existing authority $300 million can be made available for military credit sales to Israel. There are two items in this resolution which did not appear In the House version.
