Speaker. one of my closest friends in Brooklyn. N.Y.. is a wellknown and respected physician and surgeon who has been a leader in his profession for over a half century. His career is remarkable in the fact that he came to the United States as an immigrant boy from Italy of 7 years of age. Along his way. after being graduated at Long Island Medical College in 1923. he became a member of the faculty of that nationally known topnotch medical school. I consider that it was a high honor indeed when the students of that institution in the year 1934 dedicated their yearbook.
