Citizenship and International Law where subcommittee members raised serious questions in the case of Haviv Schieber. the subject of two recent deportation tries by the Immigration Service. The presence of Senators JAMES BUCKLEY of New York and JESSE HELMS of North Carolina at the morning session. later postponed until the afternoon. is a good indication of the interest and concern aroused by the Schieber case.
