Until the last of these people are free. and the last Jew who wishes to emigrate from Russia is allowed to go. the Soviet Union will not attain the international respectability and recognition she so ardently seeks. Several years ago the captive Jews of Russia began to speak out. even more strongly and persistently. demanding the right to live as Jews and to go to Israel. Enraged and apprehensive. the Kremlin struck them down with all its might.
